Conduct thorough occupational assessments for children, evaluating fine motor skills, sensory processing, cognitive abilities, and daily living skills to identify areas for improvement.
Individualized Therapy Plans:
Develop and implement customized therapy plans based on assessment findings to address challenges in motor coordination, sensory integration, and functional independence.
Therapy Sessions:
Deliver engaging therapy sessions that focus on improving adaptive skills, fine motor coordination, sensory regulation, and self-care activities.
Interdisciplinary Collaboration:
Work closely with a diverse team--including speech therapists, psychologists, educators, and other healthcare professionals--to ensure a holistic approach to each child's development.
Family Guidance:
Provide parents and caregivers with practical strategies and interventions to support their child's progress at home.
Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, including session notes and progress reports, and ensure timely submission of required documentation.
Case Management:
Ensure smooth case handovers upon termination or transfer of duties, maintaining continuity of care for each client.
Community Engagement:
Participate in promotional activities and outreach programs to enhance the visibility of occupational therapy services at Kidscape CDC.
Additional Duties:
Perform any other tasks as assigned by management to support the overall mission of the organization.
