Job Description

Assess patients' physical, cognitive, emotional, and sensory abilities Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals Help patients regain or improve skills for daily living and work activities Use therapeutic exercises, activities, and adaptive techniques Train patients in using assistive devices and adaptive equipment Modify home, school, or workplace environments to improve independence Work with patients recovering from injury, illness, disability, or aging-related conditions Educate patients and caregivers on therapy techniques and home programs Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly Maintain accurate patient records and documentation Collaborate with doctors, physiotherapists, speech therapists, and other healthcare professionals Support patients' mental and emotional well-being during rehabilitation Follow ethical, safety, and professional standards of practice Participate in case meetings, training, and continuing education Advocate for patient independence and quality of life
