Conduct antenatal check-ups and monitor pregnancy progression.
Manage normal and high-risk pregnancies.
Conduct normal deliveries, C-sections, and labour room management.
Provide emergency obstetric care as required.
Provide counselling on family planning, contraception, prenatal/postnatal care.
Maintain accurate medical records and ensure proper documentation.
Ensure patient safety, privacy, and medical ethics at all times.
4. Emergency & Inpatient Care
Attend to emergency cases in labour room and casualty/ER.
Manage inpatient rounds, pre-op/post-op patients, and follow-ups.
Cooperate with multidisciplinary teams for critical cases.
5. Administrative & Team Responsibilities
Participate in hospital meetings, CME programs, and training sessions.
Guide junior doctors, nurses, and support staff.
Follow hospital policies, SOPs, and clinical guidelines.
Skills & Competencies Required:
Strong clinical and surgical expertise.
Compassionate patient communication.
Ability to handle emergencies and high-pressure situations.
Good teamwork and decision-making skills.
Updated knowledge of medical advances in obstetrics and gynaecology.
Preferred Candidate Profile:
Experience in managing both OPD and IPD.
