Experience & Skills Required:



Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in the seismic industry as an Observer Proficient in the operation and maintenance of modern recording instruments (Sercel, Innova, etc.)

Key Responsibilities / KRAs:



Operate recording instruments for 3D seismic data acquisition Perform online quality control (QC) to ensure the accuracy and integrity of recorded seismic data Identify and replace faulty ground equipment to maintain operational efficiency Monitor and maintain QC standards by tracking open channels percentage Conduct daily equipment checks and maintain detailed test records Plan and organize the next day's recording operations Identify and document damaged or malfunctioning equipment encountered during daily operations Ensure scheduled maintenance of all seismic equipment is performed on time
