Job Description

Clinical Care & Assessment:

Perform initial assessments, thorough evaluations, and diagnostic tests (including ultrasounds) for obstetric and gynecological patients.

Labor Ward Management:

Manage labor and delivery processes, including normal vaginal deliveries, and support the management of high-risk pregnancies.

Surgical Assistance & Procedures:

Assist consultants in gynecological surgeries (e.g., cesarean sections, laparoscopy) and perform minor procedures such as cervical screenings, D&C, and biopsies.

Antenatal & Postnatal Care:

Monitor fetal health and development, manage prenatal health risks, and provide postnatal care for mothers and newborns.

Emergency Care:

Attend to emergency cases, including on-call duties, and manage emergencies in obstetrics and gynecology.

Documentation & Reporting:

Maintain detailed medical records, including daily ward rounds, progress notes, and discharge summaries, ensuring accurate documentation of treatment plans.

Patient Education:

Counsel patients and their families regarding medical procedures, health, and wellness.

Team Collaboration:

Work with multidisciplinary teams, including nurses, consultants, and other specialists, to ensure high-quality patient care.

Academic & Professional Development:

Participate in clinical/academic programs, case presentations, and research to stay updated with medical practices.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?50,000.00 - ?130,000.00 per month
