Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Care
Provide assessment, diagnosis, and management of obstetric and gynaecological patients under consultant supervision.
Attend antenatal, postnatal, and gynaecology clinics.
Participate in normal and high-risk deliveries, caesarean sections, and other gynaecological procedures.
Respond promptly to obstetric and gynaecological emergencies (e.g., PPH, eclampsia, ectopic pregnancy).
Monitor and review inpatients, documenting progress and updating care plans.
Emergency Duties
Participate in on-call rota for labour ward, emergencies, and casualty referrals.
Stabilise and manage critically ill patients until senior support is available.
Theatre Responsibilities
Assist and perform surgical procedures under supervision.
Ensure proper pre- and post-operative care of patients.
Documentation & Communication
Maintain accurate and timely medical records.
Communicate effectively with consultants, nursing staff, patients, and families.
Prepare discharge summaries, referral notes, and follow-up instructions.
Teaching & Training
Support the training of junior doctors, interns, and nursing staff.
Participate in departmental academic activities, case presentations, and audits.
Governance & Compliance
Adhere to hospital policies, infection control protocols, and ethical standards.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs.
Qualifications & Requirements:
MBBS degree with valid medical registration.
Postgraduate qualification in Obstetrics & Gynaecology (MD/MS/DNB/Diploma) preferred.
Prior experience in labour ward, obstetric emergencies, and gynaecological procedures desirable.
Strong clinical judgment, decision-making, and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team and handle high-pressure situations.

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹130,000.00 per month
