Job Description

A nursing tutor provides academic and clinical guidance to nursing students, developing lesson plans, teaching theory and practical skills, and supervising students during clinical placements. Teaching and Instruction:

Deliver lectures, conduct practical demonstrations, and facilitate discussions on nursing concepts, procedures, and patient care protocols.

Clinical Supervision:

Guide and evaluate students during clinical rotations in healthcare settings, ensuring safe and effective practice and adherence to professional standards.

Student Assessment and Support:

Evaluate student progress through assignments, exams, and clinical evaluations, and provide personalized support to help them succeed.

Mentoring and Advising:

Serve as a mentor and advisor, offering guidance on academic matters and career development.

Curriculum Development:

Contribute to the development and revision of the nursing curriculum.

Collaboration:

Work with other faculty members, healthcare professionals, and community partners to enhance the learning experience and promote interdisciplinary learning.

Professional Development:

Stay current with advancements in nursing, research, and educational practices by engaging in ongoing professional development.

Qualifications
