Job Description

Teaching:

Delivering lectures, conducting practical demonstrations, and facilitating discussions on various nursing topics.

Assessment:

Evaluating student performance through tests, assignments, and practical skills assessments.

Mentoring:

Providing guidance and support to students on academic and career matters.

Curriculum Development:

Developing, updating, and implementing curricula and instructional resources.

Clinical Supervision:

Coordinating with clinical staff to arrange and supervise students' clinical placements.

Staying Current:

Keeping up with the latest advancements in the nursing field to update course content.

Communication:

Communicating student progress to course coordinators and maintaining required documentation.

Key skills for a successful Nursing Tutor:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong teaching skills and ability to explain complex concepts. Ability to mentor and provide guidance to students. Knowledge of nursing theory and practice. Ability to develop and implement educational materials. Strong organizational skills. Patience and a supportive attitude.
