Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care Assistance
Assist staff nurses in providing basic nursing care to patients.
Help with activities of daily living such as feeding, bathing, and mobility.
Monitor and report patient conditions (temperature, pulse, respiration).
Clinical Support
Assist in preparing patients for medical examinations and procedures.
Help in administering oral medications under supervision.
Support in wound dressing, IV line preparation, and sample collection.
Ward Management
Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and infection control in patient wards.
Assist in bed making and proper arrangement of patient rooms.
Ensure availability of medical supplies and linen.
Documentation & Record-Keeping
Help maintain nursing charts, patient records, and reports.
Record vital signs and patient observations accurately.
Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
Emergency Response
Assist nurses during medical emergencies and code situations.
Learn to use emergency equipment under supervision.
Support smooth transfer and shifting of patients.
Learning & Development
Attend training sessions, demonstrations, and skill workshops.
Observe and learn from experienced nursing staff.
Follow hospital protocols and ethical practices at all times.
Qualification & Experience:
Education:
GNM / ANM / B.Sc. Nursing (Pursuing or Completed).
Registration:
Preferably enrolled or eligible for State Nursing Council registration.
Experience:
Freshers or final-year students seeking practical training.
Skills Required:
Basic knowledge of nursing principles and hospital hygiene.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
