to oversee nursing staff, ensure high standards of patient care, and coordinate daily nursing operations. The Nursing Supervisor will be responsible for staff supervision, quality assurance, duty scheduling, and ensuring compliance with hospital policies and clinical standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and guide nursing staff across all shifts and departments
Ensure high-quality patient care and adherence to nursing protocols
Prepare and manage duty rosters, leave planning, and shift coverage
Monitor nursing performance and provide guidance, feedback, and training
Coordinate with doctors, department heads, and hospital management
Ensure proper documentation of nursing records and patient charts
Maintain infection control standards and patient safety guidelines
Handle patient complaints related to nursing services and resolve issues professionally
Ensure availability and proper use of nursing equipment and supplies
Participate in audits, NABH quality activities, and policy implementation
Assist in recruitment, onboarding, and training of nursing staff
Conduct regular ward rounds and ensure discipline and punctuality
Qualifications & Requirements:
B.Sc Nursing / DGNM (Mandatory)
Valid State Nursing Council Registration
Minimum 5 years of clinical experience, with supervisory exposure preferred
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of hospital policies, infection control, and patient safety standards
Ability to work in rotational shifts if required
