Job Description

A Nursing Supervisor oversees and coordinates the activities of nursing staff, ensuring high-quality patient care and adherence to nursing standards. They manage schedules, provide guidance, and address any issues that arise in patient care, often with a focus on administrative duties and team management. Key Responsibilities:

Staff Supervision:

Supervise nursing staff, monitor their performance, provide guidance and support, and address any issues.

Scheduling and Assignment:

Manage staffing schedules, assign patients to nurses, and ensure adequate coverage.

Patient Care:

Ensure patients receive quality care, including adherence to treatment plans and protocols.

Quality Assurance:

Maintain quality assurance of nursing documentation and records, ensuring compliance with nursing policies and procedures.

Communication:

Facilitate communication between patients, nursing staff, physicians, and families.

Training and Development:

Train new nurses, provide ongoing education, and evaluate performance.

Administrative Tasks:

Manage budgets, monitor resource utilization, and maintain departmental records.
Experience: Minimum 2-3 year experience as Unit Head/In-charge/Supervision duty.

Qualification: Bsc Nursing/Post Basic BSc
