Patient care:
Oversee and ensure high standards of patient care, implement protocols, and address patient complaints and issues.
Administration and planning:
Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures, manage the nursing department's budget and resources, and oversee day-to-day operations.
Quality and compliance:
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, healthcare regulations, and best practices. This includes conducting audits and maintaining quality standards.
Liaison and communication:
Act as a liaison between the nursing department, other hospital departments, and external organizations.
Resource and inventory management:
Manage the procurement and distribution of nursing supplies and materials and ensure accurate record-keeping.
Professional development:
Promote a culture of continuous improvement by providing training opportunities and encouraging professional development for the nursing staff.
