Key Responsibilities
Supervise, guide, and support nursing staff to ensure delivery of safe, ethical, and high-quality nursing care.
Oversee daily nursing operations including patient care activities, medication administration, wound care, and vital monitoring.
Conduct regular rounds to monitor residents' physical and mental health and ensure adherence to care plans.
Coordinate with doctors, visiting specialists, and healthcare professionals for examinations and treatments.
Ensure accurate maintenance of medical records, nursing notes, reports, and patient documentation.
Implement and monitor infection control protocols and ensure a clean, safe, and hygienic environment.
Assist in training, mentoring, and performance monitoring of nursing and caregiving staff.
Handle duty rosters, shift planning, and workforce coordination.
Educate residents and family members on health management, hygiene, nutrition, and preventive care.
Participate in health camps, community outreach programs, and wellness initiatives for senior citizens.
Report critical incidents, health changes, or operational concerns to management promptly.
Eligibility & Skills
B.Sc. Nursing degree - Mandatory
Experience:
0-5 years (Freshers with leadership aptitude welcome)
Prior exposure to elder care, hospital nursing, community health, or clinical settings preferred
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Compassionate, patient-focused, and empathetic approach toward elderly care
Ability to work independently and manage a multidisciplinary healthcare team
