Job Description

Patient assessment and care

: Conduct initial patient assessments and develop/implement care plans.

Medication and treatment administration

: Administer prescribed medications, injections, and treatments, monitoring for side effects.

Monitoring and recording

: Monitor patient progress, observe and record symptoms, and maintain accurate, detailed health records.

Patient and family education

: Educate patients and their families about medical conditions, treatments, and recovery processes.

Collaboration

: Work with physicians, other nurses, and the broader healthcare team to coordinate patient care.

Technical and procedural duties

: Perform technical procedures, assist with surgeries, and operate medical equipment.

Health promotion

: Promote health and prevent disease through various interventions and patient education.

Ward management

: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
