Education

: Diploma in Nursing / Bsc., Nursing in an accredited institution with Valid and current nursing license

Key Responsibilities:

Assess and monitor patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment. Measure and record vital signs (blood pressure, heart rate, temperature, etc.). Assess the patient's physical and psychological condition, noting any changes or complications. Monitor the patient's vascular access site (fistula, graft, or catheter) for proper function and signs of infection. Set up and operate dialysis machines and other related equipment. Initiate and terminate dialysis treatments according to established protocols and physician orders. Administer medications as prescribed by the physician. Collect blood and other specimens for laboratory tests. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including treatment plans, nursing assessments, and any changes in the patient's condition. Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team, including nephrologists, dietitians, social workers, and dialysis technicians. Report any changes or concerns about a patient's condition to the supervising nurse or physician. Ensure a safe and sterile environment for patients and staff. Adhere to strict infection control protocols.
