Job Summary

A GNM Staff Nurse provides direct patient care, supports clinical operations, and ensures proper nursing assistance under the guidance of senior nurses and physicians.

Key Responsibilities

Provide bedside nursing care, maintain hygiene, and ensure patient comfort. Record vital signs and assist in monitoring patient conditions. Administer oral and basic medications as prescribed. Assist in wound care, dressing, feeding, and mobility support. Support doctors during examinations, procedures, and emergencies. Maintain cleanliness, infection control, and proper documentation. Provide patient and family education on basic healthcare needs. Ensure timely reporting of patient concerns and follow nursing protocols.

Good bedside manners and patient-care skills Knowledge of basic nursing procedures Ability to work in teams and handle routine clinical tasks Strong empathy, discipline, and communication skills Flexibility to work in shifts Administer medications, injections, IV fluids, and carry out all nursing procedures as per doctor's orders. Monitor vital signs, document patient records, and report clinical changes to the medical team. Assist in diagnostic procedures, wound dressing, catheterization, and emergency care. Maintain infection control, sterilization practices, and safety protocols. Educate patients and families about treatment plans, post-discharge care, and health practices. Coordinate with doctors and other healthcare professionals for smooth patient management. Maintain patient confidentiality and follow ethical nursing standards.
