Inserting IV lines, catheters, or other medical devices (for qualified nurses).
Administrative Duties
Maintaining ward/department cleanliness and infection control.
Supervising nursing aides and support staff.
Coordinating with doctors and other healthcare professionals.
Managing inventory of medical supplies and equipment.
Updating and maintaining patient charts.
Educational Role
Teaching patients and families about disease management, diet, and lifestyle changes.

Ethical and Legal Responsibilities
Maintaining patient confidentiality.
Following hospital policies, protocols, and nursing ethics.
