Key Responsibilities:
Supervise, coordinate, and support nursing staff in their daily duties
Ensure proper staffing, scheduling, and delegation of responsibilities
Monitor patient care to ensure it meets hospital standards and protocols
Maintain accurate records of patient care, staff performance, and shift reports
Oversee inventory and availability of medical supplies and equipment
Train and mentor junior nursing staff and newly recruited nurses
Handle patient or family complaints and resolve issues promptly
Collaborate with doctors and other healthcare professionals for integrated care
Enforce infection control protocols and ensure a clean and safe environment
Participate in audits, quality improvement initiatives, and compliance activities
Qualifications:
Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN); a Master's Degree in Nursing or Healthcare Management is an advantage
Minimum 5 years of clinical nursing experience, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or leadership role
Strong knowledge of nursing practices, hospital protocols, and patient care standards
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to handle high-pressure situations and resolve conflicts effectively
Work Environment:
Hospital wards (ICU, emergency, surgical, general, etc.)
Clinics or specialty healthcare facilities
Shift-based work including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed
