The Nursing Head will be responsible for overseeing and managing the entire nursing function for the home healthcare division. This includes ensuring the delivery of high-quality elder care, maintaining clinical excellence, and driving compliance with medical standards, protocols, and regulatory guidelines. The role will also involve workforce planning, training, performance management, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance service delivery and clinical outcomes.

Your day to day is: Nursing Operations & Clinical Excellence:

Develop, implement, and monitor nursing protocols, clinical guidelines, and best practices in line with industry standards.

Ensure all nursing procedures (injections, wound care, IV therapy, catheterization, etc.) are performed with accuracy and adherence to SOPs.



Monitor clinical quality metrics (e.g., infection rates, elder satisfaction) and implement corrective actions when required.

Conduct regular audits of nursing practices and elder care documentation to ensure consistency and compliance.



Elder Care & Safety:

Ensure delivery of compassionate, personalized, and elder-centric care.

Establish protocols for assessment, care planning, and documentation.

Ensure accurate and timely administration of medication, adherence to dosage, and proper recording of care plans.

Implement safety protocols, including infection control measures, hygiene standards, and elder monitoring systems.

Address complaints or incidents promptly and effectively. Staff Management & Development:

Lead the nursing team, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluation.

Create and oversee the onboarding program for new nursing staff, ensuring they are aligned with company policies and clinical standards.

Identify skill gaps and organize continuous learning programs, workshops, and certifications to enhance staff competencies.

Develop and execute succession planning strategies for key nursing roles.

Ensure adequate nurse-to-elder ratio and manage shift planning effectively. Regulatory Compliance & Documentation:

Ensure full compliance with local healthcare regulations, nursing council guidelines, and internal company policies.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation, including assessments, care plans, progress notes, and medical records.

Verify and track valid licensing and certifications for all nursing personnel.

Compile and present regular reports on clinical quality metrics, patient outcomes, and staff performance indicators.

Take ownership of escalation handling, root cause analysis (RCA), and implementation of preventive actions. Ensure NPS/CSAT scores are maintained in line with organizational benchmarks.

Conduct scheduled on-ground clinical audits at elders' residences to ensure care standards and regulatory requirements are being met.



Cross-functional Collaboration:

Collaborate closely with Regional Sales, CRT, L&D, and HR teams to drive recruitment, retention, and training initiatives effectively.

Collaborate with the training team for training initiatives and quality team for NPS and other quality metrics adherence.

Work with the operations and scheduling teams to optimize nurse allocation and availability.

Partner with the finance team to manage nursing-related budgets, costs, and resource planning.

Liaise with doctors, physiotherapists, and other clinical teams to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to elder care.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

Elder/ NOK Satisfaction Scores: Improvement in NPS (Net Promoter Score).

Clinical Compliance: Adherence to clinical protocols and regulatory standards.

Staff Productivity: Optimal nurse-elder ratio and reduced absenteeism.

Training Completion Rate: % of nursing staff completing mandatory training and certifications.

Error/Incident Rate: Reduction in clinical errors or elder incidents.

Retention Rate: - Reduced attrition among nursing staff - Elder retention measured in terms of ARPU (average revenue per user) + elders stay / service consumption in Emoha's ecosystem. - Achieve month on month benchmarked quality of care

Key Competencies:

Qualifications & Experience:

Education: B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Nursing or equivalent qualification.



Experience: Minimum 8-10 years of nursing experience, with at least 4-5 years in a managerial role, preferably in home healthcare or clinical operations.

Certifications: Registered Nurse (RN) license; Advanced certifications in healthcare management, 4+ years of experience in ICU / CCU or quality assurance preferred.

Technical Skills: - Proficiency in using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and nursing management software. - Familiarity with infection control protocols, clinical audits, and quality improvement practices.
