Position:
Nursing Assistant-ANM
Shifts:
"This role requires working on a
rotational shift basis
, including Morning, evening, and night shifts, to ensure round-the-clock patient care."
Requirement of Qualification and experience :
Education:
Only ANM Qualified Female Nurses preferred
Registration:
Valid registration with State Nursing Council.
Experience:
Minimum 1-5 years of experience in patient care.
1.Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
2.Help with mobility: transferring patients between bed and chair, walking, repositioning to prevent bedsores.
3.Provide basic comfort measures, ensuring patients are clean, comfortable, and safe.
4.Monitor patient condition, observe for changes (physical, behavioral), and promptly report to nursing staff.
5.Measure and record vital signs (e.g., temperature, pulse, blood pressure, respiratory rate) as required.
6.Under supervision, assist nurses with basic medical tasks (e.g., changing dressings, helping with wound care).
7.Prepare, maintain, and clean basic medical equipment; help in set-up and basic maintenance. Indeed
8.Maintain accurate patient records, noting observations, care given, and changes in condition.
9.Communicate effectively with nurses, doctors, patients, and families to coordinate care and relay concerns.
10.Follow infection control procedures (hand hygiene, PPE, disposal of waste) strictly.
11.Maintain patient's environment: keep rooms clean and hygienic, assist with bed-making, linen changes.
12.Assist in ensuring a safe environment, prevent falls, and use correct techniques for patient transfers.
13.Provide companionship, emotional support, and reassurance to patients and families.
14.Respect patient dignity, privacy, spiritual and cultural needs.
15.Work collaboratively with nurses, doctors, physiotherapists, social workers, and other staff.
16.Attend shift briefings, contribute to care planning discussions, and support continuity of care.
17.Participate in in-service training sessions, refresher courses, and team meetings.
18.Stay updated with SCSAC's policies, best practices in palliative and geriatric care.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
