Job Description

The Nursery Supervisor - Plantation is responsible for managing daily nursery operations related to plant propagation, growth, and maintenance. The role ensures healthy plant production, efficient use of resources, and supervision of nursery workers to support plantation and landscaping activities.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise day-to-day nursery and plantation activities Plan and manage seed sowing, propagation, potting, transplanting, and pruning Ensure proper irrigation, fertilization, and pest/disease control practices Maintain plant health, growth standards, and nursery hygiene Monitor inventory of seeds, saplings, fertilizers, tools, and chemicals Supervise nursery workers and allocate daily tasks Maintain records of plant varieties, growth cycles, and survival rates Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and plantation guidelines Coordinate with plantation managers for supply of healthy saplings Identify and report plant diseases, deficiencies, or losses
