Job Description

Responsibilities:


Manage day-to-day operations of the nursery, including plant propagation, pest
management, and fertilization


Develop and implement plant care plans to ensure the health and longevity of the
nursery's plants


Manage a team of employees, including hiring, training, and scheduling Ensure that all nursery employees are following safety protocols Order and maintain inventory of plant stock, supplies, and equipment Maintain accurate records of plant inventory, sales, and expenses



Requirements:


Bachelor's degree in Horticulture or a related field Minimum of 8-10 years of experience managing a nursery Strong knowledge of plant propagation, pest management, and fertilization
techniques


Excellent management and leadership skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Familiarity with nursery management software and inventory management systems is
a plus
