Ensure delivery of high-quality, evidence-based patient care.
Monitor patient outcomes and escalate concerns to relevant medical teams.
Participate in patient rounds and review nursing interventions regularly.
Allocate duties based on patient acuity and nurse competency.
Oversee performance of nursing staff; provide guidance, feedback, and support.
Conduct skill assessments and contribute to staff training programs.
Ensure accurate and timely completion of nursing notes and care plans.
Maintain records in compliance with regulatory and hospital standards.
Supervise proper use and maintenance of medical equipment.
Monitor availability of drugs, consumables, and linen; ensure timely requisitions.
Enforce infection control protocols and hand hygiene compliance.
Monitor staff use of PPE and adherence to biomedical waste disposal guidelines.
Act as the overall in-charge of hospital operations during evenings, nights, holidays, or weekends.
Make critical decisions in absence of department heads and escalate major issues to senior leadership as needed.
Respond promptly to clinical emergencies (e.g., Code Blue, Code Red).
Coordinate internal and external transfers of critical patients.
Address concerns raised by patients, families, or staff on duty.
Ensure customer service excellence by resolving complaints effectively.
Compile comprehensive shift-end reports detailing admissions, discharges, incidents, staffing, and unresolved issues.
Ensure structured handover to the incoming MOD or departmental heads.
Any duties assigned by the management from time to time.
