Responsibilities
Perform DEXA scans and PET scans to assess bone density and metabolic activity.
Administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients in accordance with established protocols.
Conduct diagnostic evaluations, ensuring high-quality imaging results for accurate interpretation by physicians.
Maintain aseptic technique and adhere to safety standards while handling radioactive materials.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to discuss imaging results and patient care plans.
Keep detailed records of procedures performed, including patient history and imaging outcomes.
Stay updated on advancements in nuclear medicine technology and practices.
Skills
Proficient knowledge of nuclear medicine techniques and procedures.
