Collaborate with R&D, engineering, and operations teams to understand BOM requirements for new semiconductor products. Identify, evaluate, and qualify suppliers for raw materials across multiple categories: Leadframes Die-attach materials (e.g., epoxy, conductive adhesives) Mold compounds Bonding wires (Au, Cu, Al, etc.) Substrates (if applicable) Packaging consumables (tubes, trays, carrier tapes, cover tapes, reels)
Lead RFQ/RFP processes-including cost analysis and supplier negotiations-to ensure competitive pricing and reliable delivery. Maintain close coordination with suppliers to ensure compliance with material specifications, quality requirements, and alignment with NPD (New Product Development) timelines. Partner with Quality and Engineering teams to manage supplier-related processes: sample approval, first article inspection (FAI), and audits. Manage key documentation, including MSDS, RoHS/REACH declarations, and supplier agreements. Monitor market trends and risks affecting raw materials; propose strategies for mitigation and resilience. Support cost reduction initiatives, alternate sourcing strategies, and supply continuity planning. Leverage BOM documentation to drive accurate procurement, timely deliveries, cost efficiency, and compliance.
Qualifications
Bachelor//'s degree in Engineering. Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
