PRODUCT ENGINEER

Reporting to :

ENGINEERING HEAD / PLANT HEAD

Educ. Qualifications :

DIPLOMA & BE MECHANICAL ENGINEER (DIP + GRADUATE)

Work Experience :

4-7 Yrs

PROCESS ENGINEER , ACCOUNTS , PPC, QUALITY, QMS

Roles & Responsibility :

1. Communicate with customers to provide updates on the current status of parts and inform them about upcoming operations.

2. Engage with customers regarding new inquiries for development.

3. Share Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) documents with customers.

4. Prepare costings FOR Inquiries receved from Customer.

5. Conduct feasibility studies FOR Inquiries receved from Customer.

6. Share data for packaging sheets and follow up on packaging requirements.

7. Provide ballooning drawings, feasibility studies, and other related documents to the QC team.

8. Print PO for New Product Development parts and regular parts, verifying rates against those provided.

9. Create files for newly developed parts.

10. Generate Internal Part Number in ERP (IPN).

11. Create BOM & Add specifications from drawings to the BOM.

12. Share data with the Purchase Team to open POs based on drawing specifications.

13. For new customers, send emails to the account department to process POs in the system.

14. Evaluate drawing and capacity to decide whether to develop the part in-house or outsource.

15. Add parts to the Gantt chart based on PO data.

16. Attend new customer visits.

17. Attend Design Process Approval Record (DPAR) meetings for specific customers like JD.

18. Attend PPAP audits along with customers.

19. Communicate with customers if any deviations are required.

20. Participate in extracurricular activities conducted by customers and SI.

21. Conduct reverse costing for existing parts as well as NPD parts.

22. Communicate with the QC and QMS teams in case of any doubts.

Job Knowledge :

01) Drawing Feasibility Knowkedge. Experience of Working with Tata Motors , john deere will added advantage.

02) Machining , Heat Treatment , Surface Protection , Hot Forge , Cold Forge Knowledge.

03) Costing , Machine hour Rates knowledge

04) Process Optimisation Knowledge

05) Sliding Head , CNC Machine , Grinding , Thread Rolling machining Knowledge

Skills:

01) Quality Instruments Handelling Skills

02) Drawing Study & Process design Skills.

03) SOFT SPOKEN

04) Ability to take Decisions as and when required

05) Ability to take close follow ups with customer

Authorities :

01) FREEDOM TO VISIT AT ANY CUSTOMER END REGARDING DEVELOPMENT

02) QUALITY INSPECTION OF THE NPD PARTS AT CUSTOMER END.

03) NEGOTATIONS OF COSTING & FINAL COSTING SETTLEMENT WITH CUSTOMER

04) SUPPLIER SELECTION.

05) NEW VENDOR OR SUPPLIER TO DEVELOP

06) TO MAKE UNSTOCK DC. ETC

07) NEGOTATIONS OF COSTING & FINAL COSTING SETTLEMENT WITH CUSTOMER

Pay: ?25,000.00 - ?50,000.00 per month
