Candidate\'s JD: (EXP - 5-8 Years) Candidate must have strong knowledge and experience for the skills mentioned below: Experience in migrating processes extensively involving C and Pro*C programs along with Shell scripting from any 32-bit Unix based OS like HP-UX, Solaris, IBM-AIX etc. to 64-bit Linux (RHEL) OS. Development experience in C programing using pointers, arrays, functions, structures & file operations with dynamic memory allocation and multithreading. Understanding of internal memory representation of different data types (like char, int, float, double etc.) of C in both 32-bit Unix OS and 64-bit Linux (RHEL) OS. Working knowledge with bitwise operators in C. Understanding of static and dynamic libraries in C and creation of user defined libraries. Strong experience & knowledge in debugging programs using GDB and fixing segmentation faults & memory leakage. Good understanding & implementation knowledge of Data Structures like array, linked list, stack, queue & tree in C. Strong knowledge of compiling C/Pro*C programs using Makefile with different compiler options. Strong hands-on knowledge in UNIX/Linux commands, shell Scripting and VI editor. Willing to work independently or with minimal supervision. Good to have the below knowledge or candidate should have interest to learn quickly below skills and work when needed. Oracle DB - SQL Queries (using joins, grouping, aggregate functions, co-related subqueries), PL/SQL (Cursor, Procedure, Function & Packages) Compiling, debugging, and running Pro*C programs. Understanding of internal architecture of Mainframe data types (as this is needed to convert Mainframe binary file to proper Linux binary file).
