Job description :- Quality Planning: Collaborate with product design and engineering teams during the early stages of product development to identify potential quality issues and establish quality goals.
Participate in design reviews to provide input on manufacture ability, reliability, and quality aspects of the product.
Develop quality control plans and testing procedures for new products, considering critical quality characteristics and regulatory requirements. Risk Assessment: Conduct risk assessments and failure mode analysis to identify potential failure points in the product design and manufacturing processes.
Work with the team to develop mitigation plans for identified risks to prevent quality issues. Supplier Collaboration: Engage with suppliers to ensure that purchased components and materials meet the required quality standards and specifications.
Perform supplier audits and evaluations to assess their capability to provide quality components. Testing and Validation: Develop and execute testing protocols to validate the quality and performance of new products, including functional, durability, and reliability testing.
Analyze test results and work with the design team to address any issues or improvements needed. Continuous Improvement: Monitor and analyze production processes to identify opportunities for improvement in terms of efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
Implement corrective and preventive actions to address quality issues and prevent recurrence. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed records of quality assessments, test results, and corrective actions taken.
Generate quality reports for management and cross-functional teams to provide insights into the status of NPD quality initiatives. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with design, engineering, and manufacturing teams to ensure that quality requirements are considered throughout the entire product development lifecycle.
Communicate effectively with various stakeholders to address quality-related concerns and ensure alignment. Candidate requirements:-

• Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Quality, or related field) or equivalent experience.
• Strong understanding of quality methodologies, standards (ISO, IATF, etc.), and quality control tools.
• Experience in automotive manufacturing and familiarity with automotive quality requirements.
• Proficiency in reading technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with quality management systems and tools is a plus.
