Oversee multiple NPD projects simultaneously, ensuring resource optimization, cost-effectiveness, and timely completion.
Collaborate with top management for
strategic decision-making
on new product portfolios and technology roadmaps.
Establish
KPIs and performance metrics
for innovation, time-to-market, and product performance.
Drive
cross-functional alignment
among R&D, manufacturing, supply chain, and quality teams for seamless execution.
Represent the company in
technical discussions with OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, and industry forums

Technical & Operational Responsibilities:
Lead the end-to-end
New Product Development process
-- from concept design, prototyping, validation, and production release.
Ensure compliance with
IATF 16949, ISO 9001, APQP, PPAP, DFMEA, PFMEA, GD&T
, and other automotive standards.
Drive
Design for Manufacturability (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), and Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VAVE)
initiatives.
Approve final product designs, specifications, and engineering changes before release.
Monitor project timelines, budgets, and risks; ensure on-time delivery within approved cost and quality parameters.
Support
process validation, pilot builds, and production ramp-up
for new product launches.
Ensure
customer satisfaction
through active engagement and understanding of requirements and performance expectations.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in
Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field
.
Minimum
8-12 years of experience
in New Product Development, with at least
3-5 years in a leadership role
within the automotive industry.
Proven expertise in
APQP, PPAP, DFMEA, PFMEA, GD&T
, and CAD tools.
Strong knowledge of
manufacturing processes, materials engineering, and product validation
.
Excellent
project management, problem-solving, and leadership
skills.
Effective
communication and stakeholder management
abilities.
