Job Description

Position: NPD (New Product Development) Engineer

Key Responsibilities
Develop and design new products based on customer requirements, market trends, and business needs.
Conduct feasibility studies, material selection, prototyping, and process optimization.
Prepare detailed drawings, 3D models, and technical documentation using CAD tools.
Collaborate with production, quality, and procurement teams to ensure manufacturability and cost-effectiveness.
Conduct product testing, validation, and trials to ensure compliance with standards.
Support continuous improvement in existing products and processes.
Manage project timelines and ensure achievement of milestones.
Coordinate with suppliers and customers for technical discussions and feedback.
Maintain systematic documentation for all NPD projects.

Skills Required
Strong knowledge of CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or equivalent).
Understanding of rubber, polymer, or mechanical product design preferred.
Good knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Qualification: BE / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Polymer, or related engineering field.

Experience: 2-5 years of experience in new product development, preferably in rubber/plastic/engineering industries.
