Job Summary:

We are hiring a skilled and detail-oriented

Novelty Operator

to join our frozen dessert production team in Talegaon. This role involves operating machinery used to produce specialty frozen products like ice cream bars, cones, sandwiches, and decorated cakes. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in food manufacturing and a strong focus on quality, hygiene, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate machinery for molding, extruding, enrobing, or decorating frozen novelty items. Set up and adjust machine parameters based on product and batch requirements. Ensure consistent quality, appearance, and packaging of finished products. Handle raw materials including ice cream mix, coatings, inclusions, and cake bases. Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and compliance with GMP and food safety protocols. Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of equipment. Record daily production data, downtime, and any deviations from standards. Report equipment malfunctions or quality issues to the concerned teams. Coordinate with QA and Cold Room teams to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications & Skills:

Minimum Qualification: ITI / Diploma / HSC 2-6 years of experience in food manufacturing (preferably in frozen desserts or bakery) Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Basic mechanical understanding of production machinery Comfortable working in a cold environment and in shift patterns High attention to detail and ability to follow operational guidelines precisely
