We are seeking a dedicated North Indian-Commis-I/DCDP to join our culinary team. Duties
Assist in the preparation and cooking of North Indian dishes according to established recipes and standards
Support menu planning and ingredient selection to ensure authentic flavors and presentation
Prepare ingredients through chopping, marinating, and portioning using proper knife skills
Ensure all food handling procedures comply with food safety regulations and hygiene standards
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including equipment and utensils
Collaborate with the culinary team to execute meal service efficiently during busy hours
Assist in catering events and special functions as needed
Contribute to maintaining a positive and professional kitchen environment focused on quality and teamwork
Experience
Prior experience in dietary department or as a dietary aide is advantageous
Proven background in food preparation, cooking, or food service within a restaurant or catering setting
Familiarity with menu planning, food safety protocols, and kitchen operations
Experience working with Indian cuisine or similar culinary styles is preferred
Strong knife skills and knowledge of meal preparation techniques for North Indian dishes
Exposure to fine dining environments or high-volume kitchens will be considered a plus
Demonstrated ability to handle food safely and maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
