Role Overview:

We are seeking a versatile

Backend + CMS Developer

with hands-on experience in

Node.js

,

PHP

,

WordPress

, and

Shopify

. The ideal candidate should be capable of working on custom web applications, integrating APIs, managing CMS platforms, and developing custom themes and plugins.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain backend services using

Node.js

and

PHP

. Build and customize

WordPress

websites, plugins, and themes. Work on

Shopify

store setup, customization, and app integration. Develop REST APIs and manage third-party API integrations. Collaborate with front-end developers, designers, and project managers to deliver robust solutions. Optimize performance, ensure code quality, and follow security best practices. Manage database design, queries, and optimizations (MySQL, MongoDB preferred).

Required Skills:

1.5 to 2.5 years of experience in

Node.js

and/or

PHP

development. Strong command of

WordPress

custom theme/plugin development. Good understanding of

Shopify

customization and Liquid templating. Experience with RESTful APIs, authentication, and security practices. Familiar with

MySQL

,

MongoDB

, or other databases. Version control using

Git

. Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

Bonus Skills:

Experience with

Express.js

, Laravel or CodeIgniter. Familiarity with

Shopify App development

. Working knowledge of

React.js

or

Vue.js

is a plus. Understanding of SEO best practices and web performance optimization.
