Job Role

• 
  The Dataflow Group is looking to hire an experienced technologist with a passion for service delivery towards clients and consumers of technology services.
• This is an internally facing role that will ensure that internal users are provided with optimized technology service delivery in accordance with agreed KPIs.
• This will involve understanding the business processes, the expectations to towards external clients and the delivery pressures that exist due to these and to ensure that service delivery is optimized to provide on-time services
• Successful candidates will be flexible and amenable to taking on a broad range of support tasks as Dataflow looks to mature its application support team, and be able to offer first-class support services to our end-users
• The role will initially start with an India-centric focus, with a view to moving towards a global role on offer as you become more successful.

Duties and responsibilities

• Think, act and respond as if you were a business user, with an IT brain. You must put user service above all else.
• Owning the support relationship between IT and the business user.
• Ensuring all service desk tickets/requirements are meeting agreed KPIs.
• Ensuring the IT service catalog is delivered on time and to expectation
• Acting as a single point of contact for service-related escalations and ensuring solutions are provided.
• Implementing automation solutions for commonly performed tasks, reducing common requests to being serviced in seconds.
• Ensure all service desk tickets are completed correctly and with appropriate details to drive up QoS for consumers.
• Liaising with other teams to ensure they are delivering end-user systems that accurately address the needs of the users.
• You will be required to work flexible working hours on occasions to accommodate out-of-hours emergencies and requests for change.
• Driving other teams to ensure that incidents and failures are addressed with utmost priority to return the community to service.

Mandatory requirements:

• BE, B tech in Computer science, Information Technology
• At least 4 years of experience supporting end users in a support role with at least 2 years of leadership experience
• Familiarity with ISO27001 and data security compliance (GDPR)
• Knowledge and basic capability of a modern development or scripting language such as PERL, PYTHON, etc.
• Basic operating knowledge of SQL
• Intimate working experience with a leading service management tool such as Remedy, Jira, Service Now, Fresh Service, etc.
• Knowledge of a ITIL and ITSM practices and processes
• Good English communication skills. You will be communicating with and supporting a global audience and must be able to to express yourself in both oral and written communication, clearly and concisely
