Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Junior Backend Developer with strong expertise in

Node.js

and working knowledge of

Ruby on Rails (RoR)

. The ideal candidate will contribute to building scalable backend services, APIs, and microservices, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain backend services using

Node.js

. Assist in maintaining and enhancing legacy systems built on

Ruby on Rails

. Write clean, efficient, and testable code. Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and QA teams. Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices. Troubleshoot and debug applications. Ensure performance, scalability, and security of backend systems.

Required Skills:

Primary Skills:

Strong proficiency in

Node.js

, including Express.js or similar frameworks. Experience with RESTful API development and integration. Familiarity with asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture.

Secondary Skills:

Working knowledge of

Ruby on Rails

. Understanding of MVC architecture and ActiveRecord.

Additional Skills:

Experience with databases like MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL. Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker). Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a plus.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 4-7 Years years of professional experience in backend development.
