Good understanding of Data Structures. Working knowledge of Node.jsand frameworks available for it, such as Express, StrongLoop, NestJS, etc depending on your technology stack. Good understanding of Async Programming. Knowledge ofnode.jsstandard libraries (fs, path, etc.) Some knowledge of WebSockets. Unit testing libraries like Chai, Mocha, Supertest, JestJS. Should be able to write unit test cases using stubs, mocks, spies. And some knowledge of code coverage. Good understanding of Design Patterns. Understanding of Modularization. Aware about API management. Knowledge of working with NoSQL/SQL/MongoDB/Cassandra/CouchDB/CouchBase/NeDB and modules like mongoose ODM. Aware about API creation standards. Should have knowledge of JWT and session handling. Some knowledge of code deployments in cloudis highly preferred. Should have some knowledge about TDD or BDD development approaches. Exposure to GCP/AWS/Azure is a plus Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment Good communication skills and logical reasoning.
