Position Overview

We are looking for a skilled

Node.js Developer

to join our development team. The ideal candidate should have strong backend development expertise, a good understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript, and experience in building scalable, high-performance applications. You will work closely with senior developers and cross functional teams to deliver reliable software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, test, and maintain backend services and APIs using Node.js. Collaborate with front-end developers, QA, and product teams to deliver end-to-end solutions. Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices. Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance. Integrate third-party APIs, databases, and cloud services. Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and Agile development practices. Contribute to improving development workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and overall code quality.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field. 4-5 years of hands-on experience in Node.js development. Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript. Experience with frameworks like Express.js, NestJS (preferred). Good knowledge of RESTful APIs, JSON, and web services. Strong understanding of relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and/or NoSQL (MongoDB) databases. Familiarity with Git, GitHub/GitLab, and CI/CD pipelines. Understanding of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus. Problem-solving mindset with good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Experience with message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ) or microservices architecture. Knowledge of unit testing frameworks like Jest, Mocha, or Chai. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
