Job Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and scale

backend services

using

Node.js & Express.js

Design and implement

secure RESTful APIs

Work extensively with

PostgreSQL

(schema design, queries, indexing, optimization) Create and maintain

API documentation using Swagger / OpenAPI

Integrate

Payment Gateways

(Razorpay, PayU, Stripe, Cashfree, etc.) Implement

authentication & authorization

(JWT, role-based access) Integrate

AI APIs

(OpenAI, image/text processing, chatbots, automation tools) Handle

webhooks

, callbacks, and background jobs (queues / cron jobs) Optimize backend performance, scalability, and security Collaborate with frontend, mobile, and product teams Debug, test, deploy, and monitor backend services Maintain clean, modular, and well-documented code Use

Git/GitHub

for version control and team collaboration

Required Skills & Technical Expertise

1-2 years of hands-on experience in

Node.js backend development

Strong knowledge of

JavaScript (ES6+)

Experience with

Express.js / Fastify

Strong experience with

PostgreSQL

Knowledge of

ORMs

like Prisma / Sequelize / TypeORM Experience in

Swagger / OpenAPI documentation

Hands-on experience with

Payment Gateway integration

Understanding of

API security

, validation, and error handling Experience with

JWT / OAuth / role-based access

Familiarity with

REST API best practices

Good to Have (Added Advantage)

Experience with

AI / ML API integration

Knowledge of

Redis / caching

Experience with

AWS / VPS / Cloud deployment

Familiarity with

Docker & CI/CD

Experience with

Microservices architecture

Understanding of

WebSockets / real-time APIs
