Responsibilities

Develop and maintain scalable backend applications using

Node.js

. Build RESTful or GraphQL APIs and integrate with databases or third-party services. Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code using modern JavaScript/TypeScript. Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability. Work closely with front-end engineers, DevOps, QA, and product teams. Implement security best practices, including authentication, authorization, and data protection. Troubleshoot and debug issues across the application stack. Participate in code reviews and contribute to team-wide best practices. Create and maintain technical documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Core Technical Skills

Strong proficiency in

Node.js

and

JavaScript (ES6+)

Experience with

TypeScript

Knowledge of

Express.js

,

Fastify

,

NestJS

, or similar frameworks Hands-on experience with

RESTful APIs

and/or

GraphQL

Database experience:
SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) or
NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis)

Understanding of

asynchronous programming

, event-driven architecture, and non-blocking I/O Version control experience with

Git

Familiarity with

Docker

CI/CD pipelines

, and basic DevOps concepts
