Job Overview:

We are looking for a

Senior Backend Developer

specializing in

JavaScript (Node.js)

to join an upcoming project. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with backend frameworks, APIs, databases, and DevOps tools. This is a

niche, priority requirement

with a

high-impact project

for a banking client.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using

Node.js

and related frameworks. Work with a team to design APIs and integrate front-end components. Manage and optimize

PostgreSQL

databases and backend performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features. Write reusable, testable, and efficient code. Implement security and data protection protocols. Troubleshoot and debug production issues in a timely manner.

Mandatory Skills:

Strong proficiency in

Node.js

and

ExpressJS

Working knowledge of

PostgreSQL

Good understanding of

Redis

and

Git

Experience with

TypeScript

for large-scale applications Solid understanding of backend development and API integration

Good to Have:

Experience in the fintech or banking domain Exposure to microservices architecture Familiarity with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus
