Job Description

We are looking for a skilled

Node.js Developer

who has hands-on experience in building scalable backend applications, REST APIs, and working with databases. The ideal candidate should be able to work independently, write clean code, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and optimize backend services using

Node.js

. Build and integrate

RESTful APIs

for web and mobile applications. Work with databases such as

MongoDB / MySQL / PostgreSQL

. Collaborate with front-end developers, product teams, and designers. Troubleshoot and debug applications for better performance and reliability. Implement security and data protection best practices. Maintain code quality through

unit testing

and

documentation

. Participate in code reviews to ensure best coding practices.

Required Skills & Experience

2+ years

of hands-on experience with

Node.js

. Strong knowledge of

JavaScript (ES6+)

. Experience with frameworks like

Express.js

or

NestJS

. Good understanding of

API design

, MVC architecture, and microservices. Experience working with

databases

(MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL). Knowledge of

Git

, version control, and CI/CD tools. Understanding of server-side debugging, performance optimization, and caching. Familiarity with

authentication methods

(JWT, OAuth).

Good to Have

Experience with AWS / Docker / Kubernetes. Knowledge of message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka). Exposure to frontend technologies (React, Angular).

Soft Skills

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Good communication and teamwork. Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
