Responsibilities:
Design and develop server-side applications using Node.js and other relevant technologies
Develop APIs and integrations with front-end systems
Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code
Work with complex data structures and data models
Implement asynchronous programming and lambdas
Develop and maintain unit and integration tests
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
Ensure applications are deployed and maintained on AWS and other cloud providers
Identify and address performance bottlenecks, and troubleshoot application issues
Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in Node.js and related technologies
Requirements:
3+ years of experience in Node.js development
In-depth understanding of Node.js architecture, event-driven programming, and asynchronous programming techniques
Experience with AWS and other cloud providers
Experience working with databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL
Familiarity with the principles of scalable application architecture and ability to implement them
Experience with containerization and container orchestration
Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work with complex data structures
Ability to write clean, maintainable, and testable code
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
