Job Description

We as a startup looking for a Senior Node.Js developer for our fintech app who will be responsible to Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js.

• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Lead the architecture and design of complex systems, ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Provide technical leadership in the selection of appropriate technologies and frameworks.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs to support various applications and services.
• Ensure API security, data integrity, and optimal performance.
• Design and implement database schemas, queries, and optimizations.
• Work with both SQL and NoSQL databases as needed.
• Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure code quality, adherence to best practices, and identify areas for improvement.
• Mentor junior developers and share knowledge within the team.
• Identify and address performance bottlenecks in the system.
• Optimize code and improve overall system efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, QA engineers, and product managers.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure a cohesive and efficient development process.
• Write unit tests and conduct thorough testing of backend services.
• Debug and troubleshoot production issues, providing timely resolutions.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the deployment process.
• Ensure a smooth and reliable release process.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 6+ years of hands-on experience with Node.js development.
• Proficiency in building RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Strong knowledge of database systems (SQL and NoSQL).
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
