Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled

Node.js Developer

to join our development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining server-side applications, ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and scalability. You will collaborate with front-end developers, designers, and other team members to deliver high-quality web applications and APIs.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain

server-side applications

using Node.js. Design, build, and maintain

RESTful APIs

and microservices. Work closely with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code. Optimize applications for

performance, scalability, and security

. Participate in

code reviews

, testing, and debugging. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement new features. Maintain

technical documentation

for reference and reporting.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Strong proficiency in

JavaScript

(ES6+) and

Node.js

. Experience with frameworks such as

Express.js

,

NestJS

, or similar. Familiarity with

databases

: SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and/or NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis). Knowledge of

RESTful APIs

and

GraphQL

. Understanding of

asynchronous programming

, event-driven architecture, and promises. Familiarity with

authentication/authorization

mechanisms (JWT, OAuth). Experience with

version control systems

(Git). Ability to write

unit and integration tests

. Understanding of

cloud services

(AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with

microservices architecture

Docker, Kubernetes

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
