Job Description

Core Responsibilities:

Develop high-performance backend services using Node.js and NestJS in a modular, scalable architecture. Design and implement microservices that support scalability, maintainability, and separation of concerns. Work in AI-powered development environments (e.g., Cursor, Copilot, Codeium) to increase velocity and quality. Use prompt-based coding techniques to generate, refactor, or optimize code with AI assistance. Build APIs, services, and features that align with AI-first development strategy. Collaborate with product, AI, and frontend teams to bring intelligent workflows into enterprise-grade platforms. Ensure code quality, performance, and security using modern testing and DevOps practices.

Required Skills & Experience:

Minimum 2 to 3.5 years of backend development experience in Node.js with NestJS. Strong understanding of prompt engineering and prompt-based solution development. Proven ability to integrate AI features like NLP, classification, automation, and smart decisioning via APIs. Familiarity with RESTful services, microservices architecture, and scalable backend systems. Experience working in enterprise-level development environments with code modularity and architecture ownership. Strong debugging, refactoring, and performance optimization skills.

Preferred (Nice to Have):

Hands-on experience using AI development tools like GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or ChatGPT for day-to-day coding. Experience with TypeScript end-to-end. Knowledge of GraphQL, WebSockets, and background job queues. Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and Docker.
