Job Summary

Media Tech Temple is seeking a

Node.js Developer

with

1-2 years of experience

in backend development. The candidate will work on API development, server-side logic, database integrations, and backend optimization.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain backend applications using

Node.js

and

Express.js

Build and manage

RESTful APIs

and microservices Integrate and work with

MongoDB / MySQL / PostgreSQL

databases Implement authentication (JWT/OAuth) and security practices Debug performance issues and optimize backend code Integrate third-party APIs, automation tools, and payment gateways Deploy applications on Linux servers or cloud environments Collaborate with front-end developers and product teams

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of

Node.js

,

Express.js

, JavaScript (ES6+) Experience with

MongoDB

or

MySQL

Understanding of API design and backend architecture Knowledge of asynchronous programming and event-driven systems Experience with Git, Postman, and API testing Understanding of authentication, sessions, and backend security

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

TypeScript Socket.io (real-time apps) Redis / Queue systems (BullMQ) Docker and basic CI/CD knowledge Cloud platforms (AWS, DigitalOcean, Azure) Basic understanding of React/Angular

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related fields Node.js or backend development certifications are a plus
