About this opportunity
In this role candidate will be responsible to upkeep of the set of telco tools. These tools are largely OSS for charging system, Packet Core, and network devices like routers/switches. These devices are part of customer\xe2\x80\x99s Mobile network. The tools are either OEM supplied or built in house using open source. The role is a support role with a multi-functional interaction. A team of engineers will support to achieve the goals. It will include understanding solution (HLD, LLD), fix, support, configuration, Integration, Acceptance Testing, customer coordination. They should have deeper understanding on virtualization and related Infrastructure technologies.
What you will do!

• This role demands positive mind-set, 24*7 support, and hands on delivery experience in respective areas of expertise:-
• Work within well-defined system support guidelines.
• Ensure that tools applications and supporting infra work with 100% availability.
• Ensure accurate working methodology to prevent impact on applications due to any changes.
• Share the tools\' performance of all the tools and supporting applications.
• Create and maintain processes, work instructions for the team.
• Co-ordinate with other groups to ensure all the dependent Telcom nodes are giving data.
• Trouble shooting issues with database and scripts and advance to L3.

You will bring

• Experience in working with telecom vendor or operator in technical area especially in NOCs.
• Experience in leading the team of engineers.
• Have knowledge of OSS in telecom and related technologies used to interface devices with OSS link SNMP.
• A Sound knowledge of Linux operating system. An admin experience would be preferable. A work experience of minimum two years in this line would be advantageous.
• Understanding of Virtualization technologies like VMware on server platforms.
• Knowledge of computer networking. Matching experience of minimum six months is a must.
• Experience in working with collaborate with IBM Netcool.
• Basic programming and scripting skills in Unix or python.
• Basic understanding of the security guidelines required to handle user access in servers. This includes understanding of user profiles and basic security guidelines.
• Conduct tools trainings and presentations.

Key Qualification:

• Education: B.E/B.Tech (E&C)/MCA
• Experience: 12-15 years
