The Network Executive will be responsible for maintaining, monitoring, and troubleshooting the network infrastructure of Clystra Networks Pvt. Ltd. This role ensures smooth operation of internet services, network connectivity, uptime, and field-level technical support to ensure uninterrupted service delivery to customers.
2. Key Responsibilities
A. Network Operations and Monitoring
Monitor day-to-day network performance and ensure maximum uptime.
Proactively identify, analyze, and resolve network-related issues.
Track network health using tools, logs, and NMS (Network Management System).
Manage link status, router configurations, switches, and distribution nodes.
Ensure all network faults are reported, logged, and closed within defined SLA timelines.
Coordinate with NOC (Network Operations Center) for escalation of network alarms and outages.
B. Installation, Configuration & Maintenance
Perform installation and configuration of routers, switches, ONU/ONT, access points, and fiber equipment.
Ensure proper laying and splicing of fiber optic cables (FTTH, FTTX).
Maintain documentation of network infrastructure and assets.
Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
Ensure safe cabling practices and power backup arrangements.
C. Troubleshooting & Technical Support
Diagnose issues such as link failure, low bandwidth, or customer disconnections.
Provide on-site and remote technical assistance to clients and field engineers.
Work closely with ISPs, LCOs, and internal teams to resolve escalated complaints.
Maintain incident and resolution logs for all technical activities.
D. Coordination and Reporting
Coordinate with vendors, field engineers, and NOC teams for service restoration.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance and downtime reports.
Maintain complaint, fault ticket, and preventive maintenance records.
Submit daily field and equipment usage reports to management.
E. Documentation & Compliance
Maintain updated network diagrams, fiber layouts, and link reports.
Document all configurations, IP allocations, and equipment details accurately.
Follow company policies related to data security and confidentiality.
F. Customer Support & Liaison
Coordinate with clients and operators for connection activation and technical support.
Assist sales and operations teams for new link feasibility and installations.
Ensure service satisfaction through effective communication and quick issue resolution.
G. All these and the task assigned by the Management & Authority, time to time.
3. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Network uptime percentage (SLA adherence).
Average fault resolution time (MTTR).
Number of customer complaints resolved.
Timeliness and accuracy of daily reporting.
Preventive maintenance completion rate.
Adherence to company's process and safety standards.
4. Required Skills & Competencies
Understanding of LAN, WAN, MAN, FTTH, and FTTX networks.
Knowledge of switches, routers, OLT, ONU, and RF/Optical components.
Ability to use network monitoring tools and command-line interfaces.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Experience with fiber splicing, patching, and power meter readings.
Knowledge of IP addressing, subnetting, and VLAN configuration.
Good communication, coordination, and documentation skills.
5. Qualification & Experience
Educational Qualification:
Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electronics, Telecommunication, or Computer Science.
Experience:
1-3 years in network operations, FTTH, or broadband infrastructure (freshers with strong technical aptitude may apply).

Willingness to work in the field and travel when required.

7. Working Conditions
This position requires rotational shifts (day/night) including weekends or holidays as per network requirements. Fieldwork may be required for installations, repairs, or emergency support.
