Job Purpose:We are seeking a results-driven SEO Manager to lead our search engine optimization efforts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategies that increase organic visibility, drive qualified traffic, and improve SERP rankings across all major search engines. You'll work closely with content, development, and marketing teams to align SEO goals with broader business objectives.Key Responsibilities:Organic Lead Generation: Develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies (on-page, off-page, and technical SEO) to drive organic leads.1. Manage keyword research2. Content optimization3. Technical SEO4. Link building for increased visibility and lead volume.Direct Lead Generation:1. Optimise pathways for direct traffic (e.g., website UI/UX, intuitive navigation, clear calls-to-action to convert direct visitors).Website Performance & UI/UX :1. Optimise main website: website structure, page content, and metadata for search engines and users, corporate site, blog, and landing page performance (Safety, Uptime, CWV, UI/UX).2. Website Content Update: Manages website updates as necessitated3. Work with developers to implement technical SEO improvements (e.g., page speed, mobile optimization, schema markup)4. Monitors & optimize Core Web Vitals, total website traffic, unique visitors, average session duration, and bounce rate.Conversion Efficiency:1. Map User journeys 2. Evaluates each touchpoint interaction on owned properties (website, blog, forms) and create action plans for conversion improvement for organic and direct traffic.Analytics & Optimization:1. Implements analytics frameworks, tracks performance across organic, direct, and CRM channels. Analyzes student acquisition costs and ROI for organic/direct efforts. 2. Conducts A/B tests and provides actionable insights for owned properties and CRM funnels.Content Strategy & Thought Leadership: Collaborate with content creators to develop high-performing, search-friendly content1. Develop and oversee the integrated organic content plan 2. Ensure content attracts, engages, and informs prospective students. 3. Oversees content conversion impact.Reporting 1. Monitor, analyze, and report on performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, etc.2. Track KPIs such as rankings, traffic, CTR, bounce rate, and conversions3. Stay up to date with the latest SEO trends, algorithm changes, and best practices4. Ensure all SEO activities align with brand voice and marketing goalsDimensions This is an individual contributor role.Requirements- Skills & Competencies - 7-12 years of proven experience in SEO or a related role - Strong understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors - Experience with SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog, etc. - Good understanding of Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) - Familiarity with Google Analytics, Search Console, and other digital marketing platforms - Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Shopify) is a plus - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills - Strong written and verbal communication skills - WordPress/Blog Management, Basic understanding of HTML, Java Scripts, etc. - Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlinesPreferred Qualifications: - Master's/Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Marketing or a related field - Experience in SEO agency or digital marketing agency is a plus - Basic understanding of paid search and its relationship to organic strategy - Good understanding of Content Management System (CMS) platforms (ref:updazz.com)
