Ltd.Sales Professional from Freight Forwarding (Air & Sea)industry at Mumbai, Pune, Goa, Indore & Nashik locations.Join our dynamic team to drive growth, manage key client relationships, and offer tailored logistics solutions across industries like Pharma, Engineering, Retail, and more.Interested candidates can share resume at rutika.more@nipponexpress.com.Role & responsibilities- Drive overall business development for Air and Sea freight forwarding, focusing on inbound and outbound cargo across various industries (Pharma, Engineering, Textile, RMG, Retail, Consumer Goods).- Generate leads and develop a strong pipeline for multiple products and services.- Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients, understand their logistics needs, and provide tailored, cost-effective solutions.- Conduct regular client visits to identify and target cross-functional business opportunities.- Perform monthly and quarterly business reviews with customers to build trust and increase volumes.- Collaborate with sales support, customer service, and operational teams to ensure seamless service delivery.- Oversee timely billing and collection of payments, actively following up on overdue accounts.- Act as the primary point of contact for customer issues, ensuring effective resolution and continuous operational support.- Prepare and present MIS reports to meet customer and management needs.- Coordinate with overseas offices to secure support for key accounts and business growth.- Promote additional services, including customs clearance, warehousing, and transportation solutions.Preferred candidate profile- Graduate or MBA from a reputed institution, with a focus on business, logistics, or supply chain management.- Minimum of 8+ years of experience in freight forwarding, with a demonstrated history of achieving sales targets and managing client relationships.- Proven ability to sell and manage Air and Sea freight solutions.- Expertise in strategic account management, client negotiations, and solution-oriented sales approaches.- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.- Highly self-motivated and results-driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.- Experience in handling industry-specific accounts in sectors like Pharma, Engineering, Textile, RMG, Retail, or Consumer Goods.- Familiarity with value-added services like customs clearance, warehousing, and transportation solutions.About Company : Nippon Express India Pvt.
